Our brothers had a great time at Spring Formal in New Hampshire! We want to thank the Mountain Club on Loon for their hospitality throughout the weekend. @ Loon Mountain Resort
This April, the brothers of Pi Kappa Phi will be participating in UDance, an annual dance marathon to raise money for UMass FTK! This year, the goal is to reach $200,000! Today is National Spread the Word to End the R-Word Campaign! Join us at the Campus Center with Best Buddies UMass Amherst Autism Speaks U University of Massachusetts Amherst The Boltwood Project and pledge yourself to end the use of the derogatory R-word
Super duper important quick announcement, and it would mean a lot if you could give this a quick read!
TODAY, March 1st, is the official Spread the Word to End the Word Day! Aimed at ending the use of the R-Word, the campaign seeks to raise awareness about how damaging the degrading term can be, as well as collect pledges to end the use of the word.
Having worked with Best Buddies for two short years now, I can honestly say that people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities are far and away the most compassionate and caring demographic I have ever met. Nobody deserves to be put down, even more so when many are unable to defend themselves.
As such, Best Buddies UMass Amherst has TEAMED UP with Pi Kappa Phi - UMass, Autism Speaks U University of Massachusetts Amherst, and The Boltwood Project to take over the Campus Center and raise awareness, encouraging people to pledge to end the use of the word!
YOU TOO can pledge online and join the thousands of others who have promised to actively work towards becoming more compassionate and considerate people.
Pledge online here! http://www.r-word.org/r-word-pledge.aspx
And thank you for helping make the world a better place, one word at a time!
For more information on any of the organizations, please visit their pages! They're incredible people doing incredible things.
Best buddies!!!

Happy New Year from Pi Kappa Phi! May 2017 be your best year yet. #NewYearsEve
The Ability Experience
In 2016, YOU made it possible for us to impact the lives of Pi Kapp brothers and the people with disabilities we serve. In 2017, we ask for your support in our continued mission: https://www.classy.org/checkout/donation?eid=88800
In 1904 on December 10th, Pi Kappa Phi at the College of Charleston was founded by three brave men. Andrew Alexander Kroeg Jr., Lawrence Harry Mixson, and Simon Fogarty Jr. were three noble leaders who pioneered the path to leadership and stretched their arms out for others to follow in their footsteps. If it weren't for the feats of these three men, PiKapp wouldn't be the elite nationwide brotherhood that it is today. Happy Founders Day to all brothers of Pi Kappa Phi!

Brother of the week is Sean McCarthy, a sophomore Political Science and Legal Studies major. He's our long arm of the law Chief Justice and jolly good donut salesman. He recently pledged to listen to an R Kelly song every day so watch out when he ignites as a DJ #exceptionalleaders
On behalf of the Brothers of Pi Kappa Phi, we give our immense gratitude to all the men and women those who gave everything for our country. Special thanks to our Brother Kevin Dyba and Alumni Brothers Alexander Gogol and Rich Jones for their service
Happy Founders' Day to the sisters of Alpha Epsilon Phi! Congrats on 107 years of sisterhood and special love to Alpha Epsilon Phi-UMass. We hope you enjoyed the cakes!
See some familiar faces, and check out UMass Athletics' coverage of our 36 hour Bike-a-thon when the Mens' Basketball Team generously took the time to bike with us, supported our philanthropy, the Ability Experience, and joined our campaign to end the derogatory use of the R-word.

Alum Dan Elfman is killing it at Oracle and got featured on Business Insider! Proud of ya #exceptionalleaders
Salespeople didn't like Mark Hurd's Class Of program, which introduced new college grads into Oracle's sales force. But now it's a massive success.
With the money raised from the Abilities Bike-A-Thon we were able to fund a ramp for a Belchertown resident who needed access to his house! We also put in new flooring in the bathroom and cut down branches so the resident now has a view of the pond from his new ramp! A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
