Bethel University

Living The Questions - Youth Theology Institute is hosting their Spring Retreat tonight and tomorrow online! There will be connection, dialogue, reflection, service, and pizza—delivered to each student’s home to kick things off with a virtual pizza party. There will also be large group activities, small group discussion, a reflective art project, and a devotional lead by Pastor Matt Runion Saturday morning. Connection looks a little different, but this incredible group of students is ready to wrestle through things together.

5 days! We can't wait to reconnect after such a long time. We will see on Friday at our virtual retreat!

Sending you all virtual high fives in this tough time! Hebrews 10:25 says "and let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another" NLT. While we may not be able to connect in person, we encourage you to think of ways to be connecting with and encouraging others virtually. What plans do you have to stay connected?

BETHEL’S YOUTH THEOLOGY INSTITUTE INVITES ALUMNI AND FRIENDS TO NOMINATE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Do you know a high schooler who would enjoy exploring JUSTICE & FAITH this summer?

Through Bethel’s Youth Theology Institute, Living The Questions seeks to help high-school students grow as truth-seekers and world-changers through creating space to dialogue about culturally relevant topics.

About JUSTICE & FAITH
Students at this year’s program will develop leadership skills and put biblical justice and faith into action. Martin Luther King Jr, once said, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” Youth are alert to the visible and invisible injustices around them. Youth long to bring restoration and peace to the broken world they live in.

Nominate a 9th-12th grader to attend Living The Questions from June 21-27, 2020.

This past week, Living The Questions staff had the opportunity to sit down with youth pastors to talk about how they are inviting high school students into mentoring experiences with adults. One theme from the discussion was the importance of adults being transparent. "Kids are attracted to those who are real."

A shout out to youth pastors in the Hutchinson area! Thank you for the many ways that you are transparent and real with your students.
