Middle Georgia Regional Commission service learning project
Members of the Middle Georgia Regional Commission helped renovate the Genesis Joy House in Warner Robins for its service learning project as part of our management development program! Our faculty member Eric Robinson served as MDP course instructor.
Members enrolled in our Coastal Region Management Development Program renovated Glynn County Juvenile Court’s evidence-based group counseling room as their class community service learning project. Chief Probation Officer Ed Reilly thanked the class members in a video.
Thank you Chickamauga! Members of the Institute's Planning and Environmental Services unit, faculty Danny Bivins and Langford Holbrook along with designers Kaitlin Messich and Clark Stancil, discussed implementation of the Chickamauga Renaissance Strategic Visioning and Planning with a crowd of 40+ citizens and steering committee members. Georgia Representative Steve Tarvin, Ethan Calhoun with the Northwest Georgia Regional Commission, and numerous local officials generously gave their time to attend the presentation. These economic development planning efforts are supported by a grant from the Lyndhurst Foundation. #CivicEngagement
