Thanks to those who came out for the spring pizza kick-off Friday night! We wanted to extend the invitation for all to attend our Sunday small group this semester, held at the Moores' house. If enough people come, we may split into two groups: one on Sunday night and one on Monday night. We will see based on the initial turn out.

Time: Sunday, 7 pm
Where: Thomas and Adrian Moore's house
127 Barrington Dr., Apt. 4
Athens, GA 30605

We selected the Screwtape Letters for this spring and have a schedule set up to read two to three short letters per week. Adrian found a link to the CS Lewis institute study guide (below), providing questions that can guide our discussion. She also located a pdf link (below) that offers the entire book for free online. Audio versions of almost all chapters are available on YouTube.

A word doc of the book is available here: http://www.truechristianity.info/en/the_screwtape_letters_download.php

Hi everyone! This page has been inactive for the past several months, but we're gearing up for Fall 2017! A couple of dates we want you to be aware of. First, there is a gathering at "The Rook and Pawn" board game cafe (294 W. Washington St., Suite 300) on Monday evening, August 7, from 6 to 8 pm to welcome new grad students, but everyone is invited. We'll pass out invitations to those who visit our table during grad orientation that morning. Second, our annual pizza and information meeting will be held on Tuesday evening, August 15, from 5:30 to 7 pm in Tate 473. We'll have a chance for everyone to meet one another and hear about the plans for the semester. Please plan on attending and invite a grad student friend who might be interested.

National Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week (April 2-8) celebrates the role of graduate students as TA’s and RA’s on campus today, as well as raising awareness to their future impact as leaders in academics, industry and government. However, the path to completing a graduate degree can be difficult. The pressure of personal and academic responsibilities can build beyond one's ability to cope. The National Graduate Student Crisis Line (877-GRAD-HLP) (877-472-3457) is available 24/7 to listen, connect and assist you right now. Grad Resources (www.gradresources.org) and the National Association of Graduate-Professional Students (www.NAGPS.org) are available to support you throughout the rest of the year.

Along with helpful articles and services, Grad Resources offers supportive faith-based communities on dozens of university campuses around the globe through a network called the Fellowship of Christian Grads.
