Tess is extremely excited to be part of the jury! She is a senior creative writing major and this is her fifth show with LFC. Introducing Joseph Stanichar, who will be playing Juror #10.

Joseph Stanichar gives you full permission to slap him after this performance. Seeing how he played the creepy and mischievous Paravachini in The Mousetrap last semester, he apparently is typecast as “that guy,” which is fitting if you know him. He promises he’s not racist in real life though. Really.

Introducing Mason Amrine, who will be playing Juror #9.

Mason Amrine is happy to be in his first LFC production. He is a freshman studying journalism. One thing Mason has learned is that, when playing a character in their 80s, being tired at rehearsal sometimes helps with getting into character.

Introducing Ean McFadden, who will be playing Juror #6.

Ean McFadden is a freshman Games & Animation major and plays Juror 6, which he has described as the soggy piece of bread of the jury, as evident by the amount of times he gets up to get a drink from the water cooler. Always trying to determine what his viewpoint is, Juror 6 tries to absorb as much information as possible and tries to make the most informed decision he can. Ean is excited to perform in his first show with LFC and wants to thank his friends and family for their support and the cast and crew for being a delight to work with.

Our FINAL play of the semester opens NEXT WEEKEND! Come see the amazingly talented cast & crew of 12 Angry Jurors ⚖️

The defense and prosecution have rested and the jury is filing into the jury room to decide if a young man is guilty or innocent of murdering his father. What begins as an open-and-shut case becomes a detective story that presents a succession of clues creating doubt, and a mini-drama of each of the jurors’ prejudices and preconceptions about the trial, the accused, and each other.

Ladies and Gentleman... Michael Brennen!

Michael Brennen is a Sophomore Games and Animation student. He is haunted by a little Victorian ghost girl. He has a dog and two cats. Every night, the Victorian ghost girl wakes him up by screaming in a dead language. He enjoys playing games and watching movies with his friends and family. He fears not for what the Victorian ghost girl actually is, but what she may be the harbinger of. He has enjoyed his time with LFC and the cast of Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind.

Ladies and Gentleman... Riley Perone!

Riley is a senior commercial photography student. She has a blood parrot cichlid named Moscato. Blood parrot cichlids do not live in the wild, partly because they have deformed mouths. Moscato is exceptionally good at eating. Please do not put fish in bowls, it will starve them of oxygen and they will be exposed to too much ammonia. Thank you.

Our second play of the semester opens in ONE WEEK! Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind is a theatre experience you won’t want to miss! 💡

Having opened in 1988 and still playing today as the longest-running show in Chicago history, Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind is an ensemble experiment in presenting "30 Plays in 60 Minutes." Each two-minute play is performed in random order with an interactive audience. An onstage 60-minute timer keeps everyone honest. This collection of 30 comic, tragic, political, personal, and abstract plays gives you the chance to program your own evening of 30 Neo-Futurist plays to reflect the lives and experiences of your own ensemble. Curtain!
