ATHENS IN BLOOM Planting Pride in Our Community Contest
Help us make Athens a welcoming and vibrant place to work and play!

Participate in the 2019 Athens in Bloom Planting Pride in Our Community Contest*.

Plant a pot, a hanging basket, a flower bed, window front or your entire property.
Then share a picture on Facebook or Twitter: @AthensinBloom by June 30.

Awards will be given in the following categories:
*Best embodiment of community
*Most imaginative display
*Most beautiful
*People’s choice (display with most FB likes)

Eligibility: (1) business or government entity or (2) homes within Athens city limits.

Judging will take place the week of July 1.
Winners will be featured in the Athens News and receive an award certificate from the city.
The national America in Bloom judges will visit Athens the last week of July and make additional commendations.

*Athens in Bloom is part of American in Bloom
