Title of Research: Motivations of Long Trail Hikers Researchers: Savannah Schuring IRB number: 19-E-83 Calling all hikers and lovers of the outdoors! Please fill out this survey by clicking on the link below. The purpose of this survey is to understand Long Trail (LT) hiker motivations, adversities, and general trail knowledge. This survey will look at hiker motivations, length of time spent on the LT, overcoming adversity, reasoning behind hiking choices, and other questions about trail maintenance and club membership. This survey will assist the Green Mountain Club, who maintains the Long Trail and other trails in Vermont, in getting and keeping Long Trail hikers.
