"Athens may be cooling down for the winter, but ACRN is just heating up. Come take shelter from the frigid cold and warm up to the sweet sounds of college rock bouncing off of the walls of a 1950s chapel this Saturday, November 16. No matter what kind of music you’re into, whether it be indie or experimental, the show has something for you." -Taylor Linzinmeir

Meet the DJ: Blue
"Abby Jeffers spent her days growing up near the Park of Roses in Clintonville, Ohio, making mixed CDs. Today, she spends her days in Athens, Ohio, still just as in love with music.
“I guess for me, the radio show is an extension of [making mixed CDs], but instead I’m making them for me and not for someone else,” Abby said.
Abby is a sophomore journalism major with a love for grammar and writing about gender and sexual orientation. She has her own blog, Indientry, where she has been writing music reviews since 2015, and she is currently working on a new website with a focus on gender, sexuality, and identity called Qth Magazine that hosts art and media from queer folk."

Album Review: clipping. – There Existed an Addiction to Blood
"The cult of the horror movie is a strong, murky corner of the greater cinema community that often only gets mainstream coverage when a film makes billions of dollars—or it’s just the month of October. Yet, any horror movie aficionado will be happy to tell you that the beauty of the medium is its ability to accurately depict our society in all of its flaws and fears. Experimental rap-trio clipping understand that, revel in it and completely deconstruct it to deliver poignant themes on their newest LP, There Existed an Addiction to Blood."

Album Review: Eartheater – Trinity
"Trinity is the third full-length studio album from American multimedia artist Eartheater, a.k.a Alexandra Drewchin. Her composition is dark sludge spread thinly across the project, as each track surrounds its listener in a cloud of ambiance structured by the skeleton of experimental trap influence. Drowning in reverb and delay, Trinity rides the line between full-blown ambiance and the trap-pop hybrid that hides beneath."
