Today we honor Senior and All-American, Devin Everk!
Devin had a stellar Senior Season Campaign by finishing 3rd at the National Tournament!
When asked:
1. How does it feel to be an AA?
2.What will you miss most about wrestling and or Menlo?
Here are his responses:

1) “Feels like a dream come true. When thousands of hours of commitment, years of effort & a lifetime of training all come together for one brief moment, then it all makes sense & you know why you chose to trade all those hours for just a few seconds because nothing in this world can describe or replace the emotion of the moment and the feeling you get knowing you did it. No matter what happens, no one can take ever take that away.”

2) “What i will miss most about Menlo Wrestling is my teammates and coaches more than anything. I already miss scrapping with the boys early in the morning, the lifts in the afternoons & especially all the competition. What I’ll miss most about Menlo College is seeing all the people I’ve grown so close with over the years. I couldn’t imagine what my life would be like without those people in it & the incredible impact Menlo College has had on my life. I’ll be forever grateful & proud to be an Oak.”
Congratulations once again to Devin Everk!
Forever an Oak!Ⓜ️

Today we begin honoring our All-Americans.
Both Riley Siason and Jacob Mendoza had fantastic years!
Riley finished at 6th Place while Jacob finished in 4th.
When asked what they learned most about this past Season:

“Menlo wrestling is a family! I am thankful for my coaches, practice partners and family”
-Jacob Mendoza

“This season I feel I had more growth than any other year I’ve been wrestling. I realized how much I need to have fun and enjoy the remaining time I have in this sport, and the only way to do that is to do it with the people I truly enjoy working with. I learned that ranges from pushing myself and others past all limits to just doing goofy things to clear your mind. I want to look back and not think there’s a single thing I want to change about my wrestling career when it finally comes to an end.
I’d like to thank my family for getting me to where I am at today. My friends for always being there for eachother. My coaches for always helping and believing in us to strive for more than what’s expected. My team for just being absolute savages, and I’d finally like to thank anybody who has supported the program. Thanks for one hell of a year!”
-Riley Siason

Congratulations Boys and we’re so excited to see what you accomplish next Season!
You make us Great!

There was plenty of offensive firepower today at Wunderlich, as the Oaks split their doubleheader with rival William Jessup, 9-6 and 10-11. Menlo totaled 28 hits over the two games, including five each from Lauren Harrison and Taylor Railey.
