🖤 We cannot start this morning without showing Alpha Pi Chapter some well-deserved love and respect for winning Chapter of the Year! This is an outstanding accomplishment and a true reflection of your hard work, leadership, and dedication. Continue doing what you do!

🩶 We also proudly recognize Brother Kool Storm of Alpha Pi Chapter for receiving the Mentorship Supporter Award! Your commitment to mentoring, supporting, and uplifting others is truly appreciated. Continue making a positive impact!

Headed back to Region II after an unforgettable 2026 Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity, Inc. National Convention in St. Louis!

This weekend was filled with brotherhood, fellowship, networking, celebration, and opportunities to help shape the future of our great fraternity. We arrived representing Alabama, Georgia, and Florida, and we are returning home even stronger, more motivated, and ready to continue putting our deeds into action.

Thank you to every brother who traveled, participated, supported the events, handled fraternity business, and proudly represented Region II. As we leave St. Louis behind, we carry the memories, lessons, renewed connections, and energy of the National Convention back to our chapters and communities.

Safe travels to every brother returning home. May God watch over those traveling by air and guide those traveling by road until everyone reaches their destination safely.

On behalf of Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity, Inc., Region II, we proudly recognize and salute all women on Women’s Equality Day.

Today, we honor your courage, leadership, strength, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to our military, communities, families, and nation. Your determination continues to break barriers, open doors, and inspire future generations of women to lead boldly—with confidence, purpose, and pride.

To every woman who has served, led, sacrificed, and refused to be limited: we see you, we appreciate you, and we salute you.

As August comes to a close, we pause to honor one of the most sacred awards this nation has ever bestowed upon its warriors. 💜

The Purple Heart.

Established by General George Washington on August 7, 1782, the Purple Heart is the oldest military decoration still awarded to American service members today. This month marks the anniversary of its creation. It is awarded to those wounded or killed in action against an enemy of the United States. It recognizes no rank, branch, or background.

It recognizes only one thing: sacrifice.

Behind every Purple Heart is a human being who stood in harm's way and refused to yield. Who paid the cost of freedom so others would not have to. Who gave pieces of themselves, sometimes all of themselves, on soil far from home, for people they would never meet, in the name of something greater than any one life.

That is not just courage. That is the highest expression of service this world has ever seen. 🙏🏾

To every Purple Heart recipient, we see you. We honor you. The wounds you carry, visible and invisible, are a permanent testament to your commitment to this nation. You are not forgotten. You will never be forgotten. 💜

To every veteran carrying wounds that no medal can fully capture, your sacrifice is seen. Your pain is acknowledged. Your service is honored just the same. 🙏🏾

August may be ending — but the reverence this award commands never does. 💜

As military professionals, veterans, and community leaders, we know that battles aren't always fought on the battlefield. Some are fought in silence.

Today, Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity Inc. challenges every brother to:

Remember that asking for help is a sign of strength—not weakness.

Sir, we hope you take some time today to relax, enjoy yourself, and celebrate another year of life and leadership. We appreciate everything you do for Region II, the time you put in behind the scenes, and your commitment to keeping this region moving forward.

Now, with that being said… today is your birthday, so we’ll try not to bother you with any Region II business. 😂 No meetings, no phone calls, no “Hey RP, quick question…”—at least until tomorrow! 🤣

On behalf of the Region II President and the Region II Executive Council, we congratulate the Gentlemen of the Gump — Alpha Mu Chapter on this outstanding accomplishment and recognition with the establishment of the Montgomery Military & Veterans Commission!

Having representation connected to this commission is a major achievement and shows the impact Alpha Mu Chapter continues to make throughout the Montgomery community, especially when it comes to supporting our military members, veterans, and their families.

This is exactly what “Deeds, Not Words” looks like—serving, leading, and making a difference in the community.
