The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at Georgia Tech Developing Global Policy Makers for 21st Century Challenges Created in 1990 and named in honor of former U.S.

The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at Georgia Tech is the only school of its kind at a major technological university in the United States. Senator Sam Nunn in 1996, the Sam Nunn School is committed to a new model of professional education in international affairs that is theoretically grounded and practice- and policy-oriented.
