The recent college un-enrollment was a wake up call. Billions of funding is wasted each year because less than 20% apply for scholarships. Proofread essays win scholarships because it allows students to recycle essay topics over and over again. βοΈ
Students should write in a notebook their "Top 3 colleges" that they're interested in attending and include the total fee package, GPA required as well as the college testing score needed. π
Many enrolled college students are unaware of their bill for college. Here's a great way to have open dialogue with your student about the expenses for college (Tuitiin, Out of State Fees, Books, Dormitory, Meal Plan, Insurance, Application Fees, Parking, Living Expenses and the most popular one that many forget about is: Travel Expenses (car, gas, airplane, train, bus). π°
Once you discuss what's involved with the planning, then the next question you want to ask the student is: How do you think we're going to pay for this each year? Help them understand the cost of living expenses including college. Please screenshot & show them this post. π
More students would stay enrolled to graduate from college the better they are prepared. Adulting is new to an 18 year old.
