Georgia Gwinnett College Find your place, find your passion, find your purpose at Georgia Gwinnett College, the first four-year, public college created in the U.S. in the 21st century.

A few years ago, Georgia Gwinnett College was home to just over 100 students. Let’s just say – things have changed. What was once 260 acres of rolling terrain has become the perfect metropolitan college campus of about 12,000 students. What’s so perfect about it? GGC adapts to how you do things – your learning style, your work schedule and your life. From the ground up, GGC was designed to help you succeed. That's game changing.

Attention, GGC community: In anticipation of inclement weather and to prioritize the safety of our campus community, the college is implementing the following changes to weekend operations:

All in-person classes scheduled for Saturday will transition to an online format. Resident students are encouraged to return home following Friday classes if possible.

Resident students remaining on campus for the weekend will receive additional information and instructions regarding residence hall operations and Grizzly Dining services.

The Wellness and Recreation Center (WRC) and Convocation Fitness Center will close at 5 p.m. today and remain closed throughout the weekend. The Academic Enhancement Center (AEC) will provide virtual services throughout the weekend, and the Kaufman Library will transition to online assistance on Sunday.

The soccer games originally scheduled for Saturday have been rescheduled for Sunday. For additional details and updates regarding game times and other athletics events, visit ggcathletics.com.

What can a water sample tell us about the health of a community? 💧🔬

That was the question at the heart of GGC's second annual Gwinnett River Rendezvous, which brought students, faculty and volunteers together to collect and analyze samples from local waterways and contribute to ongoing environmental monitoring efforts aimed at better understanding and protecting Gwinnett County's watersheds.
