Augusta University Writing Center The Augusta University offers FREE one-on-one consultations to students in any discipline working on writing, multimedia, or oral communication projects.

The Augusta University Writing Center offers FREE one-on-one writing consultations to any student, faculty, or staff of Augusta U. Consultants are trained in the teaching of writing and offer expert support at any stage in the writing process: brainstorming, drafting, revising, and editing. Students writing in any discipline are welcome! Consultants can also assist with multimedia and oral communication projects. Appointments are scheduled for 60 minutes and can be made by registering for a WC account at mywco.com/augusta. Walk-ins are also welcome. In addition to one-on-one appointments, the WC offers writing groups and online resources. Find out more by visiting http://www.augusta.edu/pamplin/writingcenter/. Locations:

AU Senior Spanish major, Danielle Wardell @daniellewardell , reads the poem “Si Tuviese Una Vida Mas” by poet Viviana Viviani. Wardell translated this poem into Spanish as part of Dr. Giada Biassetti’s @jadebiasetti @aug_ewl Spanish Translation course.

Senior Cell and Molecular Biology major Ananya Chakraborty @ananyabusiness_27 reads the poem “Tu Nombres es Mi Contrasena” by Italian poet Viviana Viviani. Chakraborty translated this poem into Spanish in Dr. Giada Biasetti’s @jadebiasetti Spanish Translation course this spring as part of her Spanish minor through the @aug_ewl department. The course allowed students to partner with Viviani and Florida Atlantic University in a large translation project!

Thank you to those who attended our workshop yesterday, and thanks to @aug_medlife and MedLife President @sabrina.khalil for co-hosting and helping us spread the word! We had more than 100 people who registered and received support!

We received several follow-up requests for another med/dental statement workshop this summer as well as workshops for grad school statements for specific programs (such as PA school, law school, humanities programs, etc.). Stay tuned for updates! We will offer these workshops in the coming months.
