At EGSC, we prepare you to transfer to Augusta University and pursue career options and service to the community. Our dedicated team of faculty and staff want to see students become successful. By providing service excellence to each and every student, we take an interest in each student and provide individual encouragement to complete your education. Our students come to us from all walks of life. Whether you are looking to continue your education directly from high school, or as a working adult, East Georgia State College - Augusta is the place for you. Because our classes are held on the Summerville campus, as an EGSC-A student, you will be able to use AU classrooms, and you will be issued a Augusta University ID card which entitles you to most of AU's student services, including use the Reese library, recreation center and some of the food services that Augusta University offers. After 30 semester hours and 2.0 GPA you may transfer to Augusta University. To make the transfer process as seamless as possible, we host transfer sessions to aid with the move to Augusta University. We would love to have you attend East Georgia State College – Augusta, and we look forward to meeting with you to discuss your educational future!

Mission: Students begin with us taking 30 credit hours and then can transfer to Georgia Regents University or wherever they choose. Students will take classes on the GRU-Summerville campus with East Georgia instructors and have a GRU ID card that allows them to use the college resources. Small classes on a large campus. At East Georgia State College we are doing our best to keep our faculty, staff and students safe as they return to campus. To do this, we are asking that everyone on campus practices social distancing, hand washing and wearing a protective face covering. Recently, the University System of Georgia announced that anyone on college campuses is required to wear a protective face covering while in all public indoor areas. To make sure our students have protective face coverings when they return to campus, EGSC is launching a campaign to help supply protective face coverings to our students, faculty and staff. The Military Order of the World Wars - Augusta Chapter

The Augusta Chapter of the Military Order of the World Wars (MOWW), the community leaders of Augusta and the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA), and our military leaders at Fort Gordon and the Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) wish each of you a happy, safe, and blessed Memorial Day weekend!

While enjoying quality time with your family, friends, and loved ones, please take a moment to join us in remembering and honoring the sacrifices of America's fallen heroes. They gave their “last full measure of devotion” to ensure our freedoms and liberties today. Please enjoy this "Virtual" Memorial Day Observance video, feel free to share with others, and know that while we cannot be together in person, we will always be together in heart, mind, and spirit!

Special thanks to Congressman Rick Allen, Mayor Hardie Davis, Jr., and Major General Neil S. Hersey, Commanding General, CCoE and Fort Gordon, for their significant roles in making this Virtual Memorial Day Observance possible.

Special thanks, also, to the volunteers at Cisco Systems, Inc. for their many hours of editing, production, and coordination – this project would not have been possible without their dedication and support; the Fort Gordon Installation Support Detachment; and the leadership teams of the U.S. Army Signal Corps and the Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center (DDEAMC).
