Washington County Soccer Club WCSC is a non-profit, mainly volunteer organization. WCSC promotes the development of youth soccer in Washington County, Oklahoma.

This email was sent out today to all eligible players with the practice schedule:
Hello and welcome to FALL 2026 Soccer!

Coaches have been notified and will be reaching out to you as soon as they can, so give them time to do so!! You can also see what team your player is on when you log into their gotsport account.

PRACTICES
Since we are ready earlier than usually, we have given the Coaches the option start this week or next.

Because of the extreme heat, we will follow the guidelines set forth by Oklahoma Soccer Association. We will make the decision by 4pm each day. So basically, practice is a GO unless you receive an email stating that it is cancelled and we will post it on FB

Remember that if you do not like the weather conditions the day we are having practice, YOU can make the decision not to come!!

Please attend the practice time that corresponds with your players Date of Birth.
Players MUST wear shin guards! Also bring a ball and lots of water and dress appropriately for the weather.


GAMES:

Now that the teams are done, we will start working on schedules! Hoping to start games on September 12th.

AGE MATRIX

Some of you have expressed concern about the age groups. The change from birth year to "school year" now has your players grouped with players in the same grade. We recognize that change is difficult, but necessary. Also, this is a new standard used for soccer across the US.

Teams have been formed and they are full, so we are not making any changes at this time!

Number of Games 8 per season

Practices 1 per week (one hour per practice)

Players in Game 3 v 3

Under 7 & 8 Soccer

Number of Games 8 per season

Practices 2x per week (one hour per practice)

Players in Game 4 v 4

Ball Size #3



Under 9 &10 Soccer

Number of Games 8 per season

Practices 2x per week (one hour per practice)

Players in Game 7 v 7

Ball Size #4

No scores or league standings are kept in these age divisions.

Hello All!
Teams have been formed and we are still needing a few more Coaches before the U5-U10 groups can start practicing.

As soon as those Coaches are secured we will send emails out with practice details.

Games are slated to start Sept 12th and we would like to have 2-3 weeks of practices before games start.

Please refer to the soccer quick facts that are pinned to the top of our page for appropriate ball sizes for your players age group and other age group related information.

To get practice ready, players will need shinguards that are covered entirely by their socks, water bottles and a soccerball.

Thank you to all who made the inaugural Washington County SummerFest tournament a success. It was a great day despite the heat!! We are excited about hosting another tournament next year and look forward to even more teams participating in this great event!!
