The Jamie Vermeulen Memorial Golf Tournament was established in 1998 to fund the Jamie Vermeulen Memorial Scholarship given out each year to a deserving Ferndale High School graduate. Jamie was an avid golfer who had been accepted to Washington State University when he suddenly died two weeks before freshman year. Jamie would be very please and proud of what we are doing to keep his memory alive.

The tournament takes place the second Friday of each June, and has been held at Bellingham Golf & Country Club, Shuksan Golf Course, and Sudden Valley Golf Course throughout the years.
