What can we say, our 6th annual Dan Barkley Basketball Showcase is in the books. We did have to cancel 1 game due to circumstances beyond our control and are working with the schools to get that game played. As it stands now, the 2020 yearly score is tied 3 games to 3 between Allegany and Steuben teams.

We would like to thank all who lent a hand in helping with this event. You know who you are and appreciate the time and effort. The staff at Alfred State College is among the best in the nation. This year, this staff went way beyond with the hiccup that occurred. Please take time to thank them if you have the chance, they deserve it.

Finally, the kids. The talent that was displayed on the court, truly amazing. THANK YOU!!! You allow us to "Showcase" your talents and this year NONE of you disappointed. The schools and administrators who allow these kids to participate, get a huge round of applause from all of us at the ACDSA. We couldn't do it without them.

Again, THANK YOU!!!! We hope to see all the patrons back here again next year.

Tonight’s game ended with an absolute BANG. Max Jusianiec was a big reason behind that, as he nailed an absolutely clutch three-pointer with under seven seconds left.
With that shot and his crowning 1,000 point milestone, he picks up our second Player of the Night honor, finishing with a game-high 30 points for the Lions.

That’s it for tonight! We’ll be back tomorrow for five more games on the slate!

Holy moly, Max Jusianiec is an assassin.
Time winding down, and with 6.8 seconds left and a two point deficit, he does THIS.
The Wellsville senior hits absolutely nothing but net on this enormous three-pointer from the left side.
If the student section doesn’t tell you how big of a shot that was, I don’t know what will!
