He received a 2004 Latin Grammy award for his production and writing in collaboration with Latin Artist “Albita.” The CD won “Best Female Contemporary Tropical Album.” The tracks that he Co-wrote/produced/arranged are, “DUERMO EN LA CALLE”, “DESEOS DE MUJER”, “DESCARAO” and “WE ARE ONE.” He has managed to work with Javier Garcia, Jon Secada, Jimena, The Gaitan Brothers, Emilio Estefan, Richard Sma

llwood, Raul DiBlasio and a host of other industry “heavy weights.” Upon finishing his education, he began performing with the South Florida Chamber Orchestra as Principal Percussionist. “Bam” has also performed and toured with recording artists such as Sam Salter and Qwest recording artist the legendary Quincy Jones. A Pendleton, South Carolina native, “Bam” has made South Florida his home. Fredrick “Bam” Scott graduated from Pendleton High School in 1990. He later graduated in the top of his class in 1992 from Brevard College in North Carolina. There, he finished with an Associates of Fine Arts Degree.
