The DRA is seeking participants for a Water Flosser and Gum Disease Study. We are looking for adults between 18-70 years of age who are not current smokers, have been diagnosed with gingivitis, and are willing to refrain from any dental treatment for 8 weeks. Eligible participants will be asked to attend 3 visits over the course of 8 weeks and will be compensated $225 in target gift cards for the completion of all 3 visits. Researchers at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine are conducting a Blood Clotting After Dental Extraction Study. Individuals who need at least one tooth removed and are currently taking blood thinner medication such as warfarin, edoxaban, or acenocoumarol, and who are 18 years or older, may be able to participate. The study involves five in-person visits and one phone visit over four weeks, and participants can receive up to $450 in Target gift cards upon completing all visits. TUSDM Researchers are looking for child volunteers for a study comparing a hands-free electronic toothbrush and manual toothbrushes. Participants must be between the ages of 5-15 at time of enrollment and in good general health. Additionally, patients must not have poor oral health, undergo or plan to undergo orthodontic treatment for the study duration, use prescription mouth wash or gum stimulator, or have received a cleaning at their dentist's office in the last week.
