Looking for a connection to nature, energy, plants, and community?

Friday, I’ll guide you on a plant spirit walk around the beautiful Russell Family Mine and teach you how to make a mugwort lunar infusion. We’ll meet the plants growing all around us and learn how to use them to heal.

Saturday, we will be guided by Robert N Wendy Russell to dig Herkimer Diamonds. In the evening, we will sit around the bonfire, sip the lunar infusion we made, while Crystal MOON Mining is Medicine leads a Full Moon ceremony.

I spent the weekend in the Adirondacks digging for Herkimer Diamonds and quartz. There is something healing when you dig in the dirt to find crystals 500 million years old. I walk away feeling grounded, happy and figuring out when I can return.

Powązki Cemetery in Warsaw, Poland is a quiet art museum. I always take a moment to walk the silent paths lined with incredible statuary, each time I visit. There is a beauty in the lost art of funerary sculpture.

Spent the day learning how to clean and restore 300 year old gravestones. I’ve always been fascinated with the history of New England stone carvers and squealed when I was assigned to a gravestone believed to be carved by the mysterious “Simsbury Bat Carver”.

Side note: The sound of the special brushes we had to use, whilst scrubbing, is total ASMR, I think I may be onto something here….
