Hey y’all, Manny from the Domestic Recruitment Team here! That’s officially a wrap on Florida 🏖️
Had such an incredible couple of weeks traveling through the Sunshine State,
meeting so many wonderful musicians along the way☀️

Huge shoutout to for an incredible job in once again hosting this year’s Florida Music College Fair AND for inviting me to take part in the pre-fair Admissions Panel! Was truly a pleasure providing helpful insight to students’ burning questions - hope to do it again next year ☝️🤓🎵

Between school visits, I also had the opportunity to visit some of our amazing partners in Miami! Thank you to and for being such gracious hosts and inviting me into your spaces! ❤️🫶 It was great connecting with you and your students to show them how they can successfully navigate a future career in music!

Can’t wait to see some of you again in February when I return for Orlando and Miami auditions! In the meantime, keep on rocking Florida 🎸🤘🏻

🗽NYC Recruitment Trip! 🎶 From the AD of Admissions, .lok
What an incredible few days in New York City representing Berklee Admissions!
Over the course of this trip, I visited 5 high schools and had the opportunity to speak with and connect with 300+ talented young musicians — sharing more about Berklee, answering questions about the college and audition process, and hearing about their own musical journeys and goals.🎓🎵
One highlight was visiting Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, where I had the chance to speak with students from six different ensembles, including jazz bands and orchestras!
It was also a pleasure spending the visit with Tanya Chanphanitpornkit, an accomplished bassist, conductor, and music educator named a quarterfinalist for the 2026 GRAMMY Music Educator Award. 🏆🎻
There’s something especially energizing about getting out on the road, stepping into music classrooms, and talking directly with the next generation of musicians. I loved hearing their questions, learning about what they’re working on, and hopefully giving them a glimpse into what their future at Berklee could look like.
Thank you to all the counselors, music educators, and students who welcomed me into their schools throughout NYC! ❤
