Three I-O psychologists have developed and validated a new evidence based tool for selecting players during the NFL draft. Known as the NFL Player Assessment Test (NFL-PAT), the tool aims to measure psychological constructs beyond general intelligence in order to better predict how players will perform once in the league.

While many team level interventions focus on improving team effectiveness by increasing the volume of communication amongst team members, recent research suggests quality of team communications may be more important for high performing teams.
