For 35 years, Mischelle built a successful banking career. It began unexpectedly in 1991 when, as a young mother enrolled at Union County College, she ran an errand at a local bank branch. A quick chat with a teller led to an interview with the branch manager. A week later, she had a job offer.

You are warmly invited to Conversations in Care on June 18, for an engaging and immersive learning experience designed to strengthen our ability to navigate difficult end-of-life conversations in healthcare. This event, hosted on the campus of Raritan Valley Community College, will feature a live performance experience exploring real-world scenarios and reflections on those moments that can challenge communication, compassion, and presence.

There will also be a guided discussion and interaction with a small panel representing various professional perspectives (medical, legal, financial, and spiritual). This event is an opportunity not only to learn, but to build greater comfort and confidence for difficult conversations, while exploring some of the emotional and ethical dimensions of patient care.
