We welcomed King University’s Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice students to the Higher Ed Center this week for orientation!

King has expanded its Master of Science in Nursing options to include concentrations in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and Nurse Leadership & Administration, in addition to its long-standing Family Nurse Practitioner concentration.

More options mean more opportunities for local nurses to advance their education and more highly trained healthcare professionals serving our region. Praying for the Milligan community this evening.

We are profoundly shocked and saddened to share that members of our cycling team were in an accident involving a vehicle this morning while cycling in Hampton, TN. Sophomores Haylan Engdahl and Brayden Rogers were killed in this accident. Multiple other Milligan cyclists were also seriously injured and are currently receiving treatment at the Johnson City Medical Center. There are no words to adequately describe this level of loss. Our prayers are with all those impacted by this tragedy. Please keep the Milligan community in your prayers.

Through access to the Regional Simulation Lab, our students strengthen their clinical knowledge, refine essential skills, and gain valuable hands-on experience in a realistic learning environment—helping prepare them to deliver high-quality patient care with confidence.
