COMM students making a difference beyond the classroom. 💪

Today, students in Professor Alyssa Cerroni’s Health Communication class volunteered their time to support the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) on UTRGV Edinburg campus.

They spent time talking with fellow students, answering questions, sharing information about blood cancer and stem cell donation, and encouraging others to join the NMDP registry.

And their efforts made an incredible impact. ❤️

224 UTRGV students registered today as potential donors.

We are so proud of these students for volunteering their time and showing how to use communication for good.

And tomorrow, they’re back at it! 🙌
