🩺 Did you know that until the early 90s, most major medical trials were conducted exclusively on men? Help fill the gap in menopause care training.

Designed for clinicians, the University of Vermont's Menopause Care Professional Certificate gives students the confidence to assess, counsel, and co-create treatment plans.

By the end of the course, students learn how to:
- Apply hormone therapy (HRT) guidelines
- Integrate non-hormonal options
- Manage complex cases
- Communicate confidently

“It’s about personalizing the knowledge they already have and then co-creating a plan with patients to help them maximize their health… We want to build a community of learning to help us all increase our knowledge together.”
- Dr. Karen George, M.D., M.P.H., Co-Course Developer

Life transitions can unsettle our routines and identities, and make the future feel uncertain.

Grounded in psychology and indigenous wisdom, graduates of the program learn to:
- Identify common responses to major events
- Apply evidence-based skills to support those coping with change
- Develop a personalized transitions “map” that supports healthier adjustment and growth

The summer registration deadline for this online, four-week program is July 20.
