BC3’s 60-year legacy receives special recognition!

U.S. Representative Mike Kelly recently presented BC3 with a certificate of special congressional recognition, honoring the college’s 60th anniversary and six decades of excellence in education, community service and workforce development.

During his visit, Rep. Kelly also toured BC3 Main Campus to see firsthand the many ways the college continues to serve students and the community.

🎉 Congratulations to three outstanding BC3 students on this well-deserved recognition!

Jenna Frankenstein (Zelienople), Denver Ott (Sarver), and Peter Zulick (Renfrew) have each been awarded $1,000 scholarships from the Pennsylvania Certified Public Accountant Foundation in recognition of their academic excellence and commitment to pursuing careers as Certified Public Accountants (CPAs).

Their achievements reflect the dedication, leadership, and hard work of BC3 students as they prepare for successful careers in accounting. Jenna, Denver, and Peter all plan to continue their education after graduating from BC3 and pursue the CPA credential.

BC3’s Rho Phi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society was recognized this semester at the PTK Catalyst Convention in Baltimore for achieving a three-star level! ⭐⭐⭐

Last week, the BC3 golf team moved to 5–2 after a strong showing at Lake Arthur Golf Club.

Mitchell Covert led BC3 with an 80, marking the seventh time in the past 20 matches he’s posted the team’s lowest score.

The Pioneers finished second overall and topped the Community College of Allegheny County in the match.
