2026 Festival Artist(s) Spotlight! Several works this season include voice as part of our festival program. On July 16, our "Summer Schubertiade" program will include art songs sung by tenor Mackenzie Whitney (Trockne Blumen, Die Forelle), bass John Hines (Der Wanderer), and mezzo-soprano Suzanne Hendrix (Der Tod und das Mädchen). This season also includes a performance on July 19 of Il Tramonto by Ottorino Respighi, sung by mezzo-soprano Michelle Monroe. All four artists are either graduates from, or faculty members at, the University of Northern Iowa, UNI School of Music.
