Today's the day! Recruitment registration is finally open! If you haven't yet been sold on signing up, here are a few encouraging words from our Vice President of Recruitment.🤍

"My name is Hannah Fiore and I am the Vice President of Recruitment for Alpha Phi! Having just gone through recruitment myself this past year, I know firsthand how exiting, emotional, and rewarding the process can be. Recruitment gave me the opportunity to build lifelong friendships, find incredible women who have become my biggest supporters, and create memories I will cherish forever. The people I met through this experience have truly become my home away from home. As you navigate recruitment, trust yourself, stay authentic, and keep an open mind. While the journey may feel uncertain at times, everything has a way of falling into place, and you will find the community where you are meant to be, just like I did!!"

Lindsey's Senior Spotlight 🌹🤍

Lindsey joined Alpha Phi in the spring of 2023! She brings so much laughter to our chapter, and we've been so blessed to have her for as long as we did.

In 2025, Lindsey earned a spot on the executive board as our Vice President of Finance and Housing. Through that position, she was able to grow as a leader and demonstrate a strong example of responsibility. As an Alpha Phi and a full-time student, she was also an athlete for EIU, and thrived through it all.

After EIU she plans to continue her education back home in Texas. Even so, sisterhood has never been limited by distance. Our love will forever be just as strong, no matter how far it has to travel.

Lindsey, we're so proud of how far you've come and the person you've become while at EIU. You deserve every opportunity and piece of joy that the future has waiting for you. We're so grateful for every laugh, memory, and milestone that we were able to share in this chapter, and for the ones that are still to come. Our love and support will never fade, regardless of distance or time!

Senior Spotlight - this time for Kenzie✨🤍

Kenzie joined Alpha Phi as a COB in November of 2023, and we've loved her everyday since then. She truly is a light that you want to have around, always. During her time in the chapter, she's served as our philanthropy chair, and dedicated lots of hardworking to fulfilling the position through events like heartthrob week, mac n' phi's, and so much more.

After EIU, Kenzie is moving to Indiana with Morgan to continue her academic career by looking at graduate schools. Although we'll miss her so, so much, we know that there is nothing but good to come for her. Kenzie and Morgan have shown such an unbreakable bond, and we have no doubt that the memories they continue to make will set an example for sisterhood and last a lifetime.

Kenzie, you truly have a heart of gold and bring so much happiness to the people around you. You are full of love. That has been such an asset to our chapter, and we can't imagine what it would look like if someone hadn't changed your mind in 2023. Thank you for being who you are every single day! Never stop! Your home will always be here, and the people who fill it will forever have open arms.

We were beyond honored to spend an afternoon with our alumnae this weekend in celebration of our charter on EIU's campus! Alumnae, thank you for giving us such a special, sentimental day. Words cannot express our love for this chapter and the women who have shaped it throughout the last 5 decades. We were truly reminded of how wonderful it is to be an Alpha Phi, and the memories we made will be held in our hearts forever to comeback to. We're so proud to be a part of something so beautiful.

Tomorrow is the day of Red Dress Gala! Your support will be making a meaningful difference in the fight against heart disease in women, and we could not be more grateful. We'll be seeing you very soon at 406 Sixth Street in Charleston, IL!

Senior spotlight for our girl, Morgan.✨💐

In a few short weeks, Morgan will be graduating with an honors distinction! We are so, so proud of her for making this accomplishment in just three years, and we have so much more than that to be proud of too.

While an Alpha Phi, Morgan held positions as our sisterhood chair, Panhellenic delegate, diversity, equity, and inclusion chair, and vice president of new member education. She was also secretary of the greek life honors fraternity, Order of Omega! After graduating she'll be doing an internship in occupational therapy and then plans to take a gap year before going to graduate school.

Morgan, we're going to miss you more than words can really capture, but more than anything, we're so excited to see what you do next. We'll forever remember the way you made Alpha Phi feel like home to so many of the once new members who are in our chapter today. We'll remember your stop ins to the chapter house couch just to sit and chat, and all of the memories that took place with you there. We will forever be there to support, love, and show up for you, just like you did for us in these last three years. The house that built you will still have room, even after your years as a college student are complete.🤍

GREEK WEEK 2026!📣🎉

We had such a fun week with our pairing ! Huge thank you to our airband coaches for bringing home the trophy, and to our bannner girls for getting us first place in the banner competition as well!

Congratulations to all of the chapters who contributed! This wouldn’t be possible without the participation from our community! We’re so proud to be a part of something like this, and we can’t wait for next year.🤍

Forget-Me-Not Friday — For our senior, Teagan🫂

Since joining in the Fall of 2022, Teagan has shown up for our chapter in so many ways, and we are so incredibly proud of how she’s grown and who she’s become. Leadership is just one of the many qualities our sisters look up to her for, and during her time as an Alpha Phi, she’s served as our President, Vice President of New Member Education, Guard, and Sisterhood Chair.

After graduating, Teagan plans for begin her career in teaching and pursue higher learning by applying to graduate programs for a masters degree in early education with an endorsement in special education. We’ll be cheering her on for years and years, no matter where or when.

Teagan, our love and support for you is something that lasts far beyond the 4 years you spent here. More than a leader, you’ve been an amazing friend. You’ve given your sisters a woman to look up to, and shown them that someone will always love and care about them. We’re more than grateful to be a piece that led you to the future you’ll build. Know that you will forever have a home in us.🤍

Why Red Dress Gala, from one our seniors, .meshenky

“The passion for supporting women’s heart health is personal for me.
 In high school, I was diagnosed with a heart condition called Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Before the diagnosis, I had no idea what it was or how important it is to be aware of your heart and any related issues. I was going through passing-out spells and flare-up episodes and had to learn along the way how to manage these symptoms.

Being a part of Alpha Phi has always meant more to me than joining a sorority. Our philanthropy, The Alpha Phi Foundation and women’s heart health, immediately drew me in. Cardiac disease is the number one cause of death in women in the United States, and having the opportunity to dedicate a piece of my college experience to the cause meant so much to me.

That’s why supporting the Alpha Phi Foundation and being a part of Red Dress Gala is so important to me. It helps raise awareness and funds for women’s heart health.”

Red Dress Gala is more than just an event. It’s why we show up for her, for eachother, and for every woman. Your attendance and support means the world to us.
