This week, our chapter had the opportunity once again to visit the Brown Family, owners of Aroma of the Andes Coffee, in Linn, WV! We were able to taste test a specialty coffee brewed in a Japanese Kazumi Siphon Coffee Maker, Colombian chocolate, and their espresso infused maple syrup (a new product in partnership with the Ronk Family Maple Farm)!

We are excited to work with Aroma of the Andes on another fundraising event by selling their delicious coffee! For more information, reach out to any of our members or comment down below to get in contact with us! Our fundraiser will run from September 15th to November 21st, 2025, so don’t miss out! ☕️

🚨 GSU FBLA-Collegiate Election Results! 🚨

On April 8th, GSU FBLA-Collegiate held its local elections, and we are excited to announce the new leadership team for the upcoming year! 🎉

First, a huge thank you to our former President and WV FBLA-Collegiate State Delegate, Charles R. Copeland, III, and former Executive Vice President, Haylen Book, for their outstanding leadership and contributions to the chapter. Under their guidance, we saw a 500% increase in membership and an 875% increase in finances! 🙌

The Glenville State University FBLA-Collegiate chapter had an incredible experience at the West Virginia FBLA-Collegiate State Leadership Conference this weekend, April 4th-5th, hosted by the University of Charleston!
We are thrilled to share that all of our members who attended placed in their events! A huge congratulations to everyone who competed alongside members from UC’s chapter and Bluefield State University. Proud to represent GSU and our commitment to business excellence!

Why did you choose to join FBLA?
I chose to join FBLA because it resonated with me as someone who doesn’t typically join student organizations. When I learned about its mission of self-improvement and helping others do the same, I saw it as a meaningful opportunity to engage with my school community. FBLA has given me both a sense of purpose and valuable experiences while I work toward my degree.
