⭐️ Graduate Spotlight: Sydney Putnam (Burgin) ⭐️

Sydney is currently a PE Teacher and Assistant Softball Coach at Greer High School in Greer, SC. She is also pursuing her master’s degree in Sport Psychology/Kinesiology at UNCG.

HSPE loves seeing our graduates pursue higher education and find their calling after graduating from the program. We are proud to call Sydney an alumna and wish her all the best in her future endeavors! 🎓

Introducing HSPE Staff: Meredith Bridges, Admin Assistant.

“Hi! My name is Meredith Bridges, and I am the Admin Assistant for the CAS Dean's Office and HSPE. For the HSPE Dept, I work mainly with our faculty to organize schedules, set up classes, manage department budgets, and organize events like our annual CAS Awards Day.

I graduated from GWU in 2023 with my BA in English and my BS in Psychology. I have been working at GWU for the past two and a half years, and I enjoy being part of the awesome community in GWU's College of Arts & Sciences!

Some of my favorite things to do include reading and writing books, traveling, being outside, and hanging with my dogs, Licorice and Rolo. This summer I am working on writing a book and taking summer classes for my MA degree. I hope everyone is having an awesome summer, and I am excited to see all our students return in the fall!"
