The 9th Annual Adrian Carroll HBCU/High School Battle of the Bands The 9th Annual Adrian Carroll Battle of the Bands In conjunction with Mr. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD about this historic Battle of the Bands event!

At 4:00pm on Sunday, October 16, 2011 in the O’Kelly Riddick Stadium on the campus of North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC, we will hold the 9th ANNUAL ADRIAN CARROLL OFFICIAL HBCU/HIGH SCHOOL BATTLE OF THE BANDS!! In honoring women that have breast cancer across the nation, this year the entire event is “GOING PINK.” This event will raise money for breast cancer awareness. Adrian Carr

oll, the Founder/CEO of this event, the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, Black Enterprise, Radio One, and additional sponsors, have chosen to be a part of this great event. This Battle Of The Bands event will showcase a combination of great marching bands performing with pride and discipline, showing off all of their hard work at the height of the marching band season. We plan to provide a positive and enjoyable musical experience that the students, directors, and parents will enjoy. We invite you to contact us should you have any questions.

Thank you to all bands, staff, and everyone that participated in the event on Sunday, as well as the fans who came out to support. Words can not express the gratitude that I feel for all the love and support shown by everyone. This was for a special cause and I am deeply moved that we were able to present Susan G. Komen with a check for $2000.00. Breast cancer awareness and research is so very important, as it affects so many people in our society. I hope that you all will show the same love and support next year, the 10th year, which will be bigger and better! Thank you all again and I will keep you all updated with more events to come, as well as provide information along the way, leading up to my 10 year anniversary!
