We had our first official meeting today and it took place on the lawn. Trying to soak up all this sun while it’s still here ☀️It was so nice to see all of your amazing faces and get to know all of you! We can’t wait to see you again in 2 weeks for our next fun event 💚

It’s about time to say welcome back!! Classes will be in full swing next week and we cannot wait to see everyone again. We will be at the activities fair to share the love we have for this organization and what it stands for with all of you! Please spread the word to anyone who’s interested or passionate about the environment, we would love to welcome some new faces to the organization! 💚

Wow we’ve had an eventful couple of weeks!

•We had the pleasure of listening to 4 faculty members within the Environmental Science department share their research, their background, advice, and classes they teach at UVA.

•Last week ESO hosted an advising session to share our own personal experiences with classes and professors as well as explaining the requirements for both the environmental science major for B.S and B.A. and the Environmental thought and practice major. If you missed it and have questions, don’t hesitate to ask! Class registration is happening soon!

We had a great meeting on February 9th about how to host a zero waste event! If you’re interested in learning more about what a zero waste event is, or anything relating to zero waste, be sure to attend the next meeting which is Feb. 23rd at 6 pm in the Odum Room in Clark hall! In Mitch’s last east email there’s more information about our last meeting! We look forward to seeing ya’ll this week!

Welcome back everyone in ESO! Spring semester is in full swing and we just had our first meeting last Wednesday. It was so nice to see everyone’s faces in person this semester. We have so many fun events planned this year! If you’re interested in going ESO and missed the first meeting, don’t worry. We have meetings every other Wednesday at 6 pm in the Odum room in Clark hall. Our interest meeting will be Thursday Feb. 3rd at 6 pm in the Odum room! We hope to see returning members and hopefully some new members!
