Royal Chapter #42, OES meets on the 3rd Thursday at 7:00pm. We meet at the Pioneer Presbyterian Church 206 Fillmore St SE, Chatfield, MN 55923 We were chartered June 17 1892. We serve the communities of Chatfield, Marion, Pleasant Grove Stewartville, Racine, Spring Valley, Wykoff, Fountain, Preston, Harmony, Lanesboro, Pilot Mound and all points in between. 🎉 THANK YOU TO OUR ENTIRE REGION! 🎉

What an incredible four days at the Winona County Fair!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Bingo Tent, we raised more than $2,500 to support our charitable and community programs. Whether you played one game or spent the afternoon with us, every card purchased helps make a difference right here in our communities.

Your support helps Rising Sun Lodge No. 49, Sunshine Chapter No. 98, Order of the Eastern Star, and Royal Chapter No. 42, Order of the Eastern Star—serving Winona County, Fillmore County, and surrounding areas—continue to fund scholarships, support local food shelves, assist emergency services, contribute to community projects, and so much more.

We also want to thank the Winona County Fair, our dedicated volunteers, and everyone who helped make this year's Bingo a success. Seeing so many familiar faces—and meeting new friends from across the region—reminds us why this community is such a special place.

Thanks to all of you, Saturday was our best day ever at the Winona County Fair. We appreciate the support you have shown us so far.

Friday was a great day for Bingo at the Winona County Fair. We were visited by the King and Queen of the Fair and a cow broke loose from the barns. Today we are playing from Noon-4 and again from 5-9. See you there.

Thursday was our first day of Bingo at the 2026 Winona County Fair . We had great weather and a great crowd. If you missed us Thursday, don't worry, we are going through Sunday and the prizes will keep climbing.

The Winona County Fair is one of the highlights of summer, bringing together families, friends, great food, entertainment, exhibits, and traditions that have been enjoyed for generations. Rising Sun Lodge No. 49, Sunshine Chapter No. 98, Order of the Eastern Star, and Royal Chapter No. 42, Order of the Eastern Star are proud supporters of this outstanding community event.

You'll find us in the Bingo Tent, where the fun is always happening! Whether you're a longtime Bingo player or trying it for the first time, it's an enjoyable way to spend part of your day at the fair. Games are just $1 each (2 cards per game), with cash prizes awarded throughout every session. Plus, don't miss our nightly Blackout Games with prizes of $50, $75, and $100, along with a special $100 daytime Blackout Game on Sunday!

When an emergency happens, every second matters. That's why Rising Sun Lodge No. 49, Sunshine Chapter No. 98, and Royal Chapter No. 42, Order of the Eastern Star are proud to support the local ambulance services that care for our communities.

Thanks to funds raised through our Bingo at the Winona County Fair, we've been able to provide financial support to the ambulance services in St. Charles, Lewiston, and Chatfield—helping these dedicated first responders continue their vital mission of serving our families, friends, and neighbors.

When you join us for Bingo, you're doing much more than playing for cash prizes—you are helping fund scholarships, food shelves, public safety initiatives, ambulance services, and many other community projects throughout southeastern Minnesota.

⭐ 250 Years of American Independence ⭐

As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, we take time to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and vision of the men and women who helped build our nation.

Many people are surprised to learn that nine signers of the Declaration of Independence are believed to have been Freemasons. Men such as Benjamin Franklin, John Hancock, Robert Treat Paine, William Whipple, Matthew Thornton, George Walton, William Hooper, Joseph Hewes, and Richard Stockton were connected to the principles of Freemasonry—brotherly love, relief, truth, integrity, and service to others.

While the Order of the Eastern Star was founded after the American Revolution, our organization shares many of these same timeless values. For generations, members of Royal Chapter No. 42 have worked alongside our Masonic family to strengthen our communities through volunteerism, charitable giving, friendship, and service.

For more than 130 years, Royal Chapter No. 42 has proudly served Chatfield and Fillmore County, supporting local charities, helping neighbors in need, and preserving traditions that encourage leadership, compassion, and community involvement.

As we commemorate America's 250th birthday, we honor not only the founders of our nation but also everyone who continues their legacy by making a difference in their hometowns every day.
