If you've stopped by the IT Pathway, chances are you've seen a green cup with googly eyes or overheard someone mention Cuppy. What started as a simple mistake - our Cybersecurity instructor JT left his coffee cup in the classroom at the end of the night - turned into a mascot for our May 26 graduating class. Cuppy was featured on grad caps, stickers, went on vacations, and even made into an AI chatbot.

Want to have a cute little Cuppy of your very own? I introduce to you: Cuppy, the Tamagotchi.

You feed him by deleting files. Pick files (or drag-and-drop) and Cuppy devours them. Bigger files = bigger meals, a tiny file is a real snack. The more you feed him, the more he grows. Total bytes consumed push him through tiers from fresh spawn to ANCIENT GLUTTON, and he physically gets bigger.

This semester we had a lot to celebrate - our students earned 71 professional certifications! 🥳

The end of each semester brings one of the best moments to be IT faculty: We get to celebrate with our students who stop by to show off their newest certifications. This year I decided to lean into feeling like a proud parent, and thankfully a few of our students went along with posing with their results. Congrats to Laura, Isabelle, and Daryl (pictured) and all our other pathway students who have some exciting updates to their resumes!
