Le Vorris & Vox Circus

Le Vorris & Vox Circus Le Vorris & Vox is UChicago's very own circus community. Together we strive to share in the joys of circus! Join us at facebook.com/groups/122548214443325

Le Vorris & Vox Circus is a student-led group at the University of Chicago dedicated to promoting the circus arts through performances, practices, and workshops. We perform and welcome all the arts—from traditional circus skills like unicycling, stilts-walking, aerials, acrobatics, fire-manipulation to music, dancing, and all around rocking out. During the year, we perform at various events, have weekly practices to learn and develop awesome new skills, and also hold circus skills workshops that are open to the community. During the academic year, practices are in Logan 701 on:

Sundays from 2 - 6pm
Mondays from 6 - 10pm
Fridays from 6 - 10pm

Please wear clothing that is comfortable to move around in! For more information, please email us at [email protected].

Much belated socials post about this incredible cyr wheel workshop from the spring, led by the wonderful Richie Schiraldi. Richie, thank you so much for taking the time to give our circus clowns such a memorable experience! (Scroll to the end for a video of the master at work 👑)

For the opportunity to participate in workshops like this in the future, join the circus in the upcoming school year! Lots more fun to come ;)

Will and Fred have been living the good life at UChicago, but they’re facing their most dangerous challenge yet—their 7:30 am Civ final is tomorrow! And, foolishly, they haven’t been paying attention at all. The solution? ‘Borrowing’ a time machine and spending an all-nighter gallivanting through time. Will they collect enough history trivia to pass their final? Only time will tell…

Inspired by hit 80’s movie BILL AND TED’S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE, we now introduce THE TIME-TRAVELING CIV CORE STUDY NIGHT BONANZA!, a Le Vorris and Vox circus showcase featuring aerial silks, trapeze, lyra, hammock, juggling, poi, staff-spinning, live music, and (!) a vintage time machine. Join us on May 15, 16, and 17 in Logan Center Theater West for the circus show of your wildest time-traveling dreams! 🕰️⏳🤎

Family friendly; tickets linked in bio (available starting April 27).

(Please note: this show will contain flashing lights)
