Today Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity Region II honors Indigenous Peoples Day day to recognize, celebrate, and give thanks to the Native American nations and Indigenous communities whose land we walk on and whose contributions to this country run deeper than most history books will ever capture. Indigenous Americans serve in the United States military at a higher rate per capita than any other ethnic group in the nation. They have answered every call to service with a dedication and warrior spirit that commands the deepest respect. To every Indigenous veteran and active duty service member in our brotherhood and in our communities

On September 18, 1947, the United States Air Force became an independent branch of the Armed Forces.

Kappa Epsilon Psi Military Sorority, Inc. proudly salutes the Airmen—past and present—whose courage, innovation, professionalism, and commitment have defended our nation across generations.

We extend special recognition to our Sorors who have worn the Air Force uniform and continue to carry its legacy of service.

12SEP, ΑΣ started the day at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery doing preventative maintenance and services. Afterwards, we traveled Aspire Elementary on the west side of Chicago, to pass out school supplies.

Today, the brothers of Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity, Inc. pause to honor the innocent lives lost, the first responders who answered the call, the service members who defended our nation, and the families who continue to carry the weight of that day.

Twenty-five years later, their sacrifice and courage remain part of our nation’s story.

May we never forget the lives, the heroes, and the spirit of unity that emerged from tragedy.
