We are so proud of President Charley Jo Monahan and Past President Clayton Steward!

University of Saint Mary sophomore and President Charley Monahan was joined by 2022 graduate and former USM PBL president Clayton Steward to compete at the National Leadership Conference in Chicago, where they took sixth place in the nation with their “Project Raise the Ruff” fundraiser!

The project helped raise money for the Leavenworth County Humane Society, Inc., the county’s only no-kill animal shelter, to build sustainable, permanent roofing for the organization’s outdoor kennels.

Clayton also took fourth place in the Job Interview competition after two rounds of interviews at the national level.

Charley is pursuing a dual major in Business Administration – Marketing and Management at USM, while Clayton majored in Digital Communications with a minor in Pastoral Ministry. His next academic endeavor will see him pursuing a Master of Arts at the University of Missouri.
