Who is the Montrose Metra Community Garden (MMCG)?
- We are your neighbors and community organizers within Ravenswood and North Center with a desire to make our neighborhood a little more beautiful and healthier through hands-on engagement and urban community gardening. Mission
- To create a vibrant, green community space connecting neighbors and fostering a healthy and sustainable environment for

all Ravenswood and North Center residents. Location - The west side of the Metra tracks on Ravenswood in Chicago, IL. What is at MMCG:
• Native flowers, grasses, and trees
• Community gathering and event spaces and art installations
• Garden plots for residents and organizations of Ravenswood, North Center, and Lincoln Square in the Montrose to Berteau section.

The garden hosts reoccurring volunteer days, workshops, and educational events for all interested people including gardeners or wannabe gardeners!
