Texas A&M University STARS Summer Camp STARS is a 2 or 3 day summer enrichment camp for high academically achieving high school students from Houston and San Antonio.

STARS (Summer Training in Agriculture & Related Sciences) is a 2 or 3 day summer enrichment camp hosted by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Texas A&M University. STARS targets high academically achieving students from Houston and San Antonio high schools. These students typically have a passion for biological sciences, health sciences, communications, agribusiness, and engineering,

and are looking to be a part of the Aggie family. By participating in STARS, students are exposed to programs and opportunities in the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences. They will gain experiences which enrich their awareness and skills in agriculture and related sciences. Here are a few highlights from previous years:
- Admissions and financial aid counseling
- Career advice from former students
- Experience student life by staying in dorms on campus and visiting the students recreation center
- Advice on attending college from current students
- Training in the following workshops:
- Photography course with Agriculture Journalism faculty
- Robotics demonstration from Biological & Agricultural Engineering
- Measured soil runoff & quality with Soil & Crop Sciences
- Commodity trading activity with Agricultural Economics
- Applied biodiversity and recreation ecology training
- Insect facts and displays with Entomology
