The Beacon provides Houston's homeless community with daily services including laundry, showers, and meals. Despite COVID, the Beacon continues to impact lives with dignity and hope. Century Men’s Society is proud to announce our second annual philanthropy event: Watermelon Bash! Watermelon Bash is a carnival-style event with a variety of games and booths for everyone to participate, with all proceeds benefiting our philanthropy, Camp Kesem.

Camp Kesem is a summer camp for kids with parents who have been affected by cancer. Camp Kesem serves as a support system for these kids by giving them an environment where they can run around and act like kids while being with people who have or are going through the same thing as them. The best part of Camp Kesem is that it remains COMPLETELY FREE for campers to attend. In the past year, Texas A&M’s chapter of Camp Kesem has expanded to 2 weeks of camp and requires even more funding than ever. As an organization, Century Men’s Society wants to ensure that a lack of funding never stops a kid from experiencing Kesem Magic.

Tickets will be $16 which includes a dri-fit shirt, food, access to participate in every booth, a chance to sign up for the Big 3 games and an opportunity to win up to $150 per Big 3 game for your philanthropy of choice!
