Alpha Phi Gamma was established to promote service and Asian Awareness to the University and to the community, while allowing for discovery of other cultures.

General information
Alpha Phi Gamma is the first and only Asian-interest sorority at Mizzou, and the entire state of Missouri. It was chartered on May 28, 1999, by Sisters: Yung-Yi Hsieh, Jennifer Kuo, Elizabeth Morris, Kathy Pham and Sarah Wilcox. On January 21, 2006, the colony was successfully re-chartered by the Gamma Class consisting of: Theresa Dinh, Amelia Hadisiswanto, Katie Huang, Jamie Kanki, Chung-Mei Kao, Paula Kim, Jollene Kuo, Anna Lim, and Denise Link. The Colony was recognized as Alpha Phi Gamma's Eta Chapter on July 18, 2009.
