Mizzou EM at the MORE! 🖤💛

Dr. Jessica Pelletier, Associate Program Director, and Shawn Thayer, DO, PGY-3, joined the Mayo Osteopathic Research and Education (MORE) Conference in Rochester, Minnesota, for a weekend of hands-on learning and teaching.

They co-taught the workshop “Using the Fascial Distortion Model in Acute Care Settings,” with Dr. Thayer also assisting with table training for “Using the Fascial Distortion Model to Treat Complex Pain.”

Great to see our faculty and residents sharing knowledge, teaching hands-on skills, and connecting with colleagues beyond the ED!

Dr. Pelletier, Mizzou EM resident Dr. Sadie Watson, and Hennepin Medical Education and Simulation Fellow Dr. Nicholas Maxwell delivered lectures and hands-on training for medical students, residents, nurses, and practicing clinicians during their recent trip to The Gambia.

Dr. Pelletier also taught the first osteopathic manipulative medicine course ever held in The Gambia!
