Acacia Fraternity at The Ohio State University - The Waw Chapter

Acacia - a social fraternity that bases its morals on the virtues of human service. Acacia Fraternity was founded in 1904. Address:
166 E. Woodruff Ave.

It is the only social fraternity that uses a Greek word instead of Greek letters. Our Founding Fathers wanted to distinguish us from the other fraternities and believed that the meanings of the word Acacia accurately represented the ideals of our fraternity. The Ohio State Chapter of the fraternity was initiated on March 25, 1906. We highly encourage you to become a member of the Greek community at Ohio State and especially a member of our chapter. We want you to consider joining Acacia, but we also realize that you must make the right decision for yourself. We are confident that Acacia can be the right fraternity for you. As men of Acacia we hold ourselves to higher standards both academically and socially. We hold many events throughout the year such as 7 Days of Service, Meet and Greek, and Night on the Nile, as well as participating in many more philanthropic and social events with other members of the Ohio State community.
