October 10 | World Mental Health Day
Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change.
The Brothers of Beta Omicron Sigma Chapter remind our community that mental health deserves the same attention and care as physical health.
Check on your people. Have the conversations. Listen without judgment. Encourage someone to seek help when needed—and don't neglect your own mental health.
Awareness is important, but what we do afterward matters even more.

This June, we reflect on how the foundational principles of American civil rights continue to evolve to meet the demands of modern justice.
In June 2020, the legal definition of equality in the American workplace was fundamentally strengthened. In its landmark Bostock v. Clayton County decision, the Supreme Court ruled that Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964—the landmark law passed to dismantle systemic discrimination based on race, color, religion, s*x, or national origin—safeguards LGBTQ+ employees nationwide.
By anchoring this decision directly into the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the ruling honored a timeless constitutional truth: that core civil protections must expand dynamically to shield all people from institutional bias and arbitrary economic harm.
True social justice relies on the continuous work of aligning our legal systems with human dignity. As we mark this anniversary, we recognize that the march toward equal protection under the law requires persistent advocacy, rigorous legal strategy, and an unwavering commitment to workers' rights.
