America Mended is Equality as a Nation- AMEN Nonprofit Corporation AMEN Nonprofit Corporation promotes unity, social consciousness, and eradicates civil & criminal ine We with make a world of a difference!!! The U.S.A.

Our Oklahoma born multi-issue national private foundation, Not-for-profit Corporation, and approved 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, America Mended is Equality as a Nation (A.M.E.N.) combines research, education, public awareness, policy and procedures development, and community advocacy to combat local and national, civil, and racial injustices; promote equality amongst all socioeconomic classe

s, and raise social consciousness through unity. Conceptualized in 2016 by LaKesha Williams: a full-time college student, Regent's Scholar, and Class President at the renowned H.B.C.U. Langston University, saw dire need to turn her vision into reality. As a result, she was called to create AMEN, America Mended is Equality as a Nation, to foster equality, conquer injustices, and unite segregated Americans. AMEN concentrates on helping specific groups severely impacted by unequal treatment and those marginalized by poverty to help every American receive their constitutional promises and rights as citizens. AMEN also raises social consciousness to promote harmony within diverse yet often segregated communities aiming to close the gap between races of negative perceptions, stereotypes, or idiocracies. We are committed to changing the narrative and rid traditions of classifying people as inferior because of cultural differences amongst races to understanding only on race exists, the human race. In order to achieve this vision, AMEN joins other 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organizations, associations, and for-profit businesses with similar missions to combine knowledge, skills, and abilities with vast numbers of resources in hopes that with larger groups we get more done and exceed our goals successfully. In addition, AMEN organizes meetings, conferences, seminars to educate Americans. We plan events to seek funding, and we pair attorneys and legal business professionals with clients to provide pro bono or low-fee legal representation, if necessary. is no longer what it used to be. We claim to be the Land of the Free but have the highest rate of incarceration and largest prison population of any nation on Earth. More innocent citizens are misrepresented due to financial hardships, wrongly arrested/convicted/sentenced because of prejudices yet financially independent /guilty individuals are often not interviewed, prematurely released, or get a slap on the wrist. Inequality like this must be stopped. Resisting arrest is NOT punishable by instantaneous death!!! Police brutality and wrongful deaths of unarmed citizens televised in the news, rapidly accelerating numbers of suspicious / unexplained deaths in cells, and other exposed violations of our most basic constitutional rights have gotten out of hand. Therefore, AMEN's dedication and determination to enforcing, upholding and preserving equal rights, civil rights, and civil liberties has never been more urgent! Neither could these assignments come at a better time!! This is the time for all people and organizations to stand and work together against injustice or inequality. Staying silent, doing nothing, or looking the other way is not an option anymore. THIS IS LIFE OR DEATH. We have plenty of work to do. "We must scrupulously guard the civil rights and civil liberties of all citizens, whatever their background. We must remember that any oppression, any injustice, any hatred, is a wedge designed to attack our civilization." - Franklin Delano Roosevelt
