Wright State University School of Fine and Performing Arts: Theatre Welcome to Wright State Theatre, showcasing thoughtful drama, riotous comedy, and classic and contemporary musicals.

We feature stories of rising independence, tragic consequences, and secretive trickery, audiences will experience one of our most eclectic and varied seasons in recent history. We are truly excited with the wide array of styles and stories that will be on display on the Festival Playhouse and Herbst Studio Theatre stages as our students continue to dazzle you throughout their training at Wright State. Our productions give Dayton audiences a sneak peek into the work of exceptional performing arts students before they take the world by storm, following in the footsteps of past alumni to Broadway, Hollywood, and national and international stages and screens
