Gophers in the Super Bowl
There will be three former Gophers in the Super Bowl when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers play the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
Antoine Winfield, Jr., and Tyler Johnson will suit up for the Buccaneers, while Damien Wilson will be looking for his second championship with the Chiefs. Go Gophers!

ESPN College GameDay

This Saturday is going to be a B1G day for the U of M - any Alumni in South Florida up for a get together to watch the Gophers beat Wisconsin at home?? Kickoff is 3:30 Eastern time - Duffy's in Boca? Or suggest a spot and post on here. People will go - they have to - it is the BIG ONE!

There are 493,000 U of M alumni. Most live outside the Twin Cities, and only about 50,000 of them can fit into TCF Bank Stadium. Hence, watch parties!

ESPN's "College GameDay"
A NATIONAL SHOW that will broadcast from Northrop Mall on the U of M CAMPUS starting at 8 a.m. on GAME DAY! Don your maroon and gold and be there to share the fun, or tune in and watch on ESPN!

Call all Young Alumni - (category is not defined but if you feel like you fit that description - then keep on reading!)

Boilers on the Beach are working on coordinating a Big 10 Young Alumni Meet and Greet - Happy Hour event on Thursday May 3 in Miami (where we seem to have a large concentration of YA). If you all have a young alumni representative please have them contact me to coordinate. If there are any conflicts we will need to be sure to address them sooner than later as we'd like to pick a venue no later than next week.

We've also created a Big 10 Club of South Florida via meetup.com, and will be posting events for all alumni organizations who wish to open there events up to the Big 10 audience. Please join!
