🦅✨️The American Indian Student Alliance had the privilege of attending an Indigenous Women Authors Event at the Denver Art Museum. This event honored the powerful voices of Indigenous women authors, including Robin Kimmerer, Angeline Boulley, Matika Wilbur, and Kinsale Drake. Through their unique experiences and personal stories. This incredible panel explored the connections between Indigenous traditional knowledge, art, and sciences, while sharing their unique experiences and personal stories.
It was a great time for our MSU Denver students to network, ask authors questions during the Q &A, while discovering the link between indigenous knowledge and the bridge between art and science.

The Denver Art Museum currently boasts an expansive gallery of over 20,000 square feet dedicated to its Indigenous Arts of North America Collection. This impressive collection features more than 18,000 objects, including ancient Puebloan and Mississippian ceramics, 19th-century beaded garments, carved masks, and innovative contemporary works in painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media.
